Peer Review Policy

The International Journal of Law & Research (IJLR) follows a rigorous double-blind peer review process for all submitted manuscripts. Under this policy, both the identity of the author(s) and that of the reviewers remain anonymous to each other throughout the review cycle.

Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent expert reviewers on parameters such as originality, research methodology, clarity of expression, relevance to legal discourse, and alignment with the journal's aims and scope. Reviewers' comments and recommendations serve as key criteria for final editorial decisions.

Plagiarism Policy

IJLR maintains a strict policy against plagiarism and upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and professional ethics. All manuscripts must consist of original work and proper citations must be provided for all third-party sources used.

Maximum Acceptable Similarity: A manuscript will be considered for publication only if the similarity index is below 10% (excluding references, bibliography, and standard legal citations).

If any manuscript is found to contain plagiarized content (whether during the review process or post-publication), it will be immediately rejected or retracted, and the author's affiliation will be notified.

Copyright and Licensing

IJLR operates as an open-access journal. Once a manuscript is accepted for publication, the author(s) grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the work online and in print. Authors retain copyright of their research work under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC) license, allowing others to read and cite the work for non-commercial purposes.
