Guidelines for Authors

The International Journal of Law & Research (IJLR) invites research articles, case studies, policy reviews, and legislative commentaries. To ensure a smooth review process, authors are requested to strictly adhere to the following formatting and submission instructions:

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere.
  • Submissions should be formatted in MS Word (.doc or .docx) using Times New Roman (English) and Mangal Unicode (Hindi), 12-point font, 1.5 line spacing, and justified alignment.
  • Manuscripts must include an abstract of 150–250 words and 4–6 keywords.
  • Authors must adhere to a uniform citation style: ILI format.
  • Submissions are accepted in English and Hindi only.
  • Co-authorship is permissible up to a maximum of two authors.

Peer Review Process

All submitted papers undergo a double-blind peer review process to maintain the highest academic standards. The review takes approximately 4–6 weeks, after which author notifications are sent.
